A revamped former YHA, now post pandemic offering 2 self catering 'rooms'. One fabulous well equipped cabin, and a smaller cosy 'nest' room. Location beautiful, peaceful, starry, quiet. Hot outdoor showers, amazing spot to cook on a campfire. Hosted by the very helpful and friendly Sarah and family, who live in the nearby cabin.
Walkability: Set in a beautiful woodland valley with fabulous walks. Not far to the usually open pub at Fingle Bridge ( log fire, cream teas etc). A little further takes you to the National trust Castle Drogo.

Great little hostel. All of the rooms are very comfortable and functional. The owners are very welcoming and attentive and are on hand to sort out any issues that might arise.
The living room is a lovely space that feels very homely and the kitchen is well equipped. We'r had a great stay

Charming, quirky and welcoming.
Blytheswood is an old WW1 wooden hut, hidden away on a wooded hill, that has been turned into a hostel. The owners have made it a welcoming and charming place to stay, with crocheted throws and fun pictures. We were very comfortable and had a lovely weekend, welcomed with a lit wood burner. The lovely owners are onsite to help with anything needed.

We had such a lovely stay at Blytheswood. We were made very welcome. Lovely touches like lighting the Woodburner for us so we came back to a very cosy living room after my birthday evening out. The hostel is well equipped and very quaint. Spotlessly clean. Very relaxing. Perfect for families.
