We thoroughly enjoyed the ambience that Jo and Sam have created at Weeke Barton. It’s small scale, just a few rooms. Boutique style with their own twist . |A sense of luxury without feeling pretentious. It’s off the beaten track but less …

We had a wonderful stay at Weeke Barton. Such a beautiful setting with everything so thoughtfully provided for. Our host, Jo, was very welcoming and considerate and the delightful way that she set up everything ready for our breakfast made my wife cry! |It was lovely to be so well looked after. We would love to visit again.

We have just finished our two day stay at Weeke Barton and wish to highly recommend it. Hosts were great and helpful. We were lucky to have dinner on Friday night and the pies were lovely and tasty, breakfasts were good as well! Good to see so much locally sourced food and drink on the menu. Grounds to the house were lovely and just right for our dog, and others, to run around. We benefited from Sam’s advice for a short walk on Saturday and easily found Bridford Woods. The snug bar is a gem and for us brought back memories. Our bathroom always had hot water and the bed and bedding were cosy and comfortable. Whilst we do live in the country Weeke Barton is really quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of life. Well worth a visit.

A beautiful and unique family run hotel in the heart of the Devonshire countryside only 20 mins from central Exeter - what could be better. |A stunningly renovated barton, steeped in history. Sam and Jo were attentive hosts - the breakfast was delicious and next time we will definitely book dinner there.
